Blended from three separate vineyards for more complexity, this wine shows the rich tannins and intense flavours typical of 2005. Matured in French oak for 12 months prior to fining and bottling in February 2007. The wine is dark crimson in colour, with intense perfumed blackberry fruit and fine black pepper notes. Dargaud and Jaegle “Les Bertranges” oak adding a sweet vanillan element to the nose. The palate is full and soft with balanced fruit and tannins.
