The Ashbrook Estate Verdelho displays a classical passion fruit/tropical fruit aroma. The palate mirrors the aroma; the high natural acidity of the variety complements the full flavour and vies the wine a clean refreshing finish. The excellent depth and fullness of flavour ensure the wine will age for at least a decade, when it will display an attractive honey bouquet and flavour. Our Verdelho has been chosen as Western Australia's best Verdelho, has won the Sheraton Hotel Awards Gold Medal and was recently selected in James Halliday's Top 100 wines. Served chilled it is an excellent accompaniment to fresh seafood and spicy dishes.
