The mild, maritime climate of Margaret River allows Riesling to express more floral characteristics and greater palate intensity than seen in the variety from cooler regions. This wine, made mainly from free run juice, has a light straw colour with tinges of green, a delicate citrus flower aroma and an attractive, clean flavoursome palate that finishes crisp and dry. The intense varietal flavour and crisp acidity give the wine great length and balance and ensure it will age for at least 10 years. Among the few Rieslings produced in Margaret River nowadays, this wine consistently receives awards and good reviews. It is an excellent accompaniement to delicate seafood and some spicy foods especially when the wine is served chilled. This wine is also an excellent match with full flavoured cheeses, especially a well matured cheddar.
