Ashbrook Estate is one of last vineyards in the region to harvest this variety to ensure that the flavours are fully developed. This gives the palate an attractive fullness and a softness not often seen in the variety. Overly green characters are avoided. This wine has a complex, perfumed fresh passion fruit aroma with grassy undertones and a rich powerful tropical fruit palate. The opportunity to use ripe fruit has given this wine attractive, full and very harvonious palate structure. This wine has also been selected in James Halliday's Top 100 wines and is a winner of several Sheraton wine awards. It has been selected to represent Australia in the Tri-Nation Challenge against New Zealand and South Africa. The lovely long palate finishes full, clean and dry. Enjoy with fresh seafood, fruits and mature cheeses.
